Registration is between 10am and 10:45am on Monday 29th July 2019. You need to go to Building 89 which is the Life Sciences Building. On arrival you will be given a name badge (which you need to wear for rest of the week). There will be a locked room to store your luggage in and refreshments will be available. If you are arriving late then please let us know so that someone is around to welcome you.
Information about getting to the University of Southampton by car can be found here. If you are arriving by public transport, fast trains from London and Bournemouth/Weymouth stop at Southampton Central and Southampton Airport parkway. Trains from Portsmouth and Bristol / South Wales stop at Southampton Central. You can find details of routes and time tables on the National Rail Website.
National Express provides a regular coach service to Southampton and some services stop at Highfield campus. Please check the website.
Highfield Campus is three miles from Southampton Central, and two miles from Southampton Airport Parkway. You can continue your journey to the Highfield campus from the bus and train stations using our own unilink bus services (the U1 bus from the train stations) or by taxi. The unilink bus fare is £2 for a single or £3.50 for an all-day pass.
Taxi fares from the city centre are typically between £6 and £15.
